Zack Cook The Toronto Maple Leafs begin a stretch where they play eight of their next nine on the road tonight in Philadelphia. The Buds come into this one having swept a back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday against the Penguins and Oilers. The battle tonight will be at even-strength, where the Leafs boast an NHL best 74 goals, while the Flyers lead the league after only giving up 43. Auston Matthews was absent from the Leafs morning skate today in Philadelphia, hence we don't expect him to play for the Leafs tonight. After a massive losing streak, the Flyers quietly have points in seven of their last ten games. Tonight's game is the Leafs third in four days, and it definitely has let down potential for a squad that has a very December.  Philadelphia Flyer(s) to watch Goalie Brian Elliott has been on an absolute tear lately. Elliott has a save percentage of .920 in November and in six of ten starts, he's posted a .939%. Jakub Voracek and Claude Giroux have combined for 69 points this season. Pay close attention to that star studded duo tonight.  Watchability Level Games played in the city of Brotherly love are always interesting. The vibe in Philadelphia usually doesn't disappoint, especially with a splash of Leaf fans in the mix. The atmosphere might be solid, but I'm not expecting a ton from this game in general. The Leafs are looking to avenge an earlier 4-2 loss to the Flyers late in October, but it will be interesting to see the kind of energy that the team comes out with.  NEW: Prediction against the spread The Leafs opened as -105 favorites against the Flyers, and I don't hate the value here, so despsite not liking the match up a ton, I'll take the Leafs here, who are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against the Flyers.  Leaf Lines Zach Hyman William Nylander Connor Brown James van Riemsdyk Tyler Bozak Mitch Marner Patrick Marleau Nazem Kadri Leo Komarov Matt Martin Dominic Moore Josh Leivo Morgan Rielly Ron Hainsey Jake Gardiner Nikita Zaitsev Andreas Borgman Roman Polak Frederik Andersen Curtis McElhinney Flyer Lines Claude Giroux Sean Couturier Wayne Simmonds Michael Raffl Valtteri Filppula Jakub Voracek Dale Weise Nolan Patrick Travis Konecny Taylor Leier Scott Laughton Jordan Weal Ivan Provorov Andrew MacDonald Shayne Gostisbehere Robert Hagg Travis Sanheim Mark Alt Brian Elliott Brian Boucher
